Space is a strange-mysterious place this is the reason why we are obsessed
with space exploration since the beginning of life. We find a lot of heavenly
bodies which are beyond our understanding, which defy conventional physics
rules.
Therefore, no matter how much we strive to grasp and clarify our vast cosmos,
mysteries will still remain.
Let's take a look of some mysterious, mind-boggling planets:
1. HD 131399Ab:
On this planet
an observer can take an experience of either 3 sunrise and sunsets per day or constant daylight depending on the seasons which are longer than human lifetime.
This planet is 149 Light-years away from Earth, which revolve around the
main star of a three star system in an unstable orbit.
The Brightest star is massive than our Sun and 2 less massive stars revolve
around this star and around themselves too.
2.Gliese 436b:
Some laws of physics fail here. This planet contain hot ice in solid form at temperature of 440°C.
Gliese 436b is located 30 light years away from earth, orbiting a red dwarf
star at an orbit 15 times closer than that of mercury with sun.
But how is this possible?
The reason is strong gravity. Gravity pulls the water vapour down converting
it into solid form, and prevent melting no matter how much it burn.
This planet leaves behind a trail of Hydrogen which is 50 times more massive
than its parent star.
3.Psr J1719–1483 b:
This planet orbits a pulsar with time period 2 hours and 11 minutes.
Pulsars are compact and dense objects with high rotational velocity. In this case, the pulsar takes 5.8 milliseconds to complete one rotation i.e. 172+ rotations in 1 sec.
Psr J1719–1483 b is located 4000 Light years away.
4. J1407b:
J1407b is first exoplanet found with rings. It has rings 640 times larger than that of Saturn.
If we replace this planet with Saturn, it will make larger diameter than
the full moon.
Mass of this planet is 10 to 40 times larger than Jupiter, at a distance of
434 light years.
5.Hat-P-7b:
On this planet it Rains Rubies And Sapphires.
Hat-P-7b is located about 1000 light years away from earth.
On the night side of this planet it rains rubies, and due to presence of
violent storms one can say they are present planet-wide.
6.Gliese 581c:
Life can exist despite Extreme hot and cold conditions here.
This planet is tidally locked with its star, which is 20 light years away from
earth.
Near side have very high temperature which will melt us, far side is too cold,
it make us snowman instantly.
In Between, there is a narrow strip of land which can support alien life.
In 2008 we sent a radio message there , which is expected to reach there in
2029 and if replied we will get their signal by 2050.
7. 55 Cancri-e:
Most of the mass of this planet is pure Diamond.

8.Hd 189733b:
Here, it rains Glass with high horizontal speed.
Hd 189733b is located 62 light years away from earth, with mass slightly less than jupiter.
This planet orbit its star in just 2.2 days.
The Wind speed here is too fast. If same comes here, it will orbit equator in less than 6 hours.(imagine horizontal raining glass with high speed)
9.Kepler-438b:
The most Earth like Planet.
It is 64.8 light years away from earth.
This planet has earth similarity index (esi) of 0.88.
It orbit in habitable zone of its star. There can exist liquid water on its surface.

We have seen many planets on which life can exist theoretically, But, at present only Our Great Earth support Life.
