Diamond is a very rare element found on earth but its a common material found in space. A planet named 55 Cancri-e is covered with diamond and graphite on its surface just like oceans on earth.
It is approx. two times the size of earth and mass 8.08x that of earth.

This planet is located very close to its host star 55 Cancri A. So, the surface temperature here is as large as 2200 degree Celsius.
